Valentino Rossi Star Sentenced Most Rear in Valencia GP


MotoGP standings leader Valentino Rossi will race from the rear-most position in the Grand Prix of Valencia after Marc Marquez proved to be kicked to the ground at the Malaysian GP.

In that race, Rossi actually finished third, but was sentenced to three penalty points after an investigation by the Race Direction.

Because he had pocketed one point because of the incident at the San Marino Grand Prix qualifying, then the number of penalty points to four.

Automatic, Rossi was sentenced to race from the back of the order.

Race Direction have awarded @ ValeYellow46 three penalty points the which will see him start last at the #ValenciaGP. #SepangClash
Dani Pedrosa won the race, followed by Jorge Lorenzo.

Valencia GP, the last race MotoGP series this season will be held 8 November next.
Despite the penalty of three points, Rossi still leads with seven points from Lorenzo in the standings.
